An All Consuming Grief

2024, 36”X 55”X 24” - Edition of 3 , Ceramics, cotton, glass, cloth and wood

The artist casts in clay her own hand, tightly bound and deformed under pressure. Shrunk and transformed by the elements, the body part turns into an echo of its original form while a cloud of cotton, a material used for healing and in funeral rites, emerges and fades into the space above.
